Pixel 7a passed the endurance test
When we look at the shared video, we see that the Pixel 7a, whose screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, has successfully passed the scratch tests. Scratches on the screen of the device become visible at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, while deeper scratches appear at level 7. In the fire test carried out in the continuation of the video, it is seen that the Pixel 7a does not leave any permanent marks on the OLED screen.
The most important part of the video is the bending tests. The phone manages to maintain its solidity compared to the copious amount of pressure applied from both sides. The surprising point here is that the device has a plastic body. Considering the previous results, we can say that the Pixel 7a exhibits better endurance than its older brother, the Pixel 7 Pro.
As you may recall, Pixel 7a was showcased with a 6.1-inch 90Hz OLED screen, 64MP + 13MP rear camera, Google Tensor G2 and a 4,300mAh battery. Its price starts at $499 (8GB/128GB).
