Bad news from the Phison E26 controller
The new Phison E26 controller, which is based on the PCIe 5.0 standard and can reach read speeds of up to 12.5GB / s, made its debut with AMD in May, and in September, it gave the message that it will start volume production in a short time.
However, although the third quarter is behind, there is no news of the Phison E26 controller. The company is content with giving the message that it is committed to the roadmap and will continue to develop the SSD industry.
No one knows what happened to the Phison E26 controller yet. At a time when AMD Zen 4 and Intel Raptor Lake processors are starting to hit the market, the lack of a move from Phison is a big disadvantage because many SSD manufacturers have important partnerships with Phison.
