Philips’ 55-inch Momentum 559M1RYV has been selected as an Honoree at the CES 2022 Innovation Awards. The monitor, which stands out as a Designed for Xbox game screen, received a record number of applications, such as more than 1800 applications, as part of this year’s CES Innovation Awards program.
Organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and owned by the CTA, the CES Innovation Awards program remains popular as an annual competition that awards outstanding design and engineering across 27 consumer technology product categories.

Those who earn the highest points in this award program receive the title of “Best of Innovation”. As every year, an elite panel of industry experts, including members of the press, designers, engineers and more, evaluated the applications considering innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetics and design.
At this point, Philips Momentum Designed for Xbox console gaming monitor (559M1RYV), which is designed to provide the highest experience for Xbox fans and sets a different standard in game monitors for new generation consoles, was awarded by expert referees. With the inclusion of the new HDMI 2.1 feature, next-gen console games are now available in 4K resolution, faster 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support with DisplayHDR 1000, and ultra-sharp and ultra-smooth gameplay on a 55” (139.7 cm) panel. It is able to offer Always Low Latency for its performance.
In addition, the Philips Momentum 559M1RYV has a soundbar specially designed by engineers from Bowers & Wilkins, a British speaker company known all over the world for its innovative designs and sound engineering, which completes the immersive gaming experience.
