As you know, sometimes things can get very complicated on social media. When the ropes are stretched between the phenomena and their followers, the event ends in the court, and according to lawyer Enes Saran, the phenomena have begun to abuse this situation.
According to Saran, the phenomena make provocative posts on social media because they “knowingly” want to be insulted, and then they get compensation by bringing the insults to these posts to the law.
Phenomenons deliberately post provocative posts
Saran made the following statements in his statement; “Everyone has the right to complain to the prosecutor’s office in order to protect their honor and dignity. But unfortunately, we have been observing that various social media phenomena have used this in a way that we can describe as ‘abuse of right’ in recent times. ”
Stating that the phenomena deliberately made provocative posts to generate income on this issue, Saran stated that the insults received on these posts were subsequently complained about and became a major source of income.
Saran uses the following expressions in the continuation of his statement; “If we think about it in terms of social media phenomena who abuse it, it creates a very serious income source because there is a complaint against hundreds, maybe thousands of people. This makes it easier to abuse it.”
