Phase 3 trials of SaNOtize COVID-19 nasal spray concluded: 99 percent effective

The Phase 3 research results of the Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray (NONS) developed by the Canadian Vancouver-based pharmaceutical company SaNOtize against the Covid 19 virus have been announced. According to the shared information, the new drug, which is very effective in reducing the viral load in people who have an infection, can make a great contribution to preventing the progression of the disease.

Reduces viral load by 99 percent

In trials of the new drug on 306 patients in 20 clinical regions across India, the SARS-CoV-2 viral load of COVID-19 patients was reduced by 94 percent within 24 hours and by 94 percent within 48 hours. It was found to be reduced by 99 percent. However, the nasal spray, which showed no side effects in more than 500 treated patients, was approved by the Indian drug regulator for use in adult patients in the risk group.
