Petal Maps, the navigation service developed by Huawei within its own ecosystem, was offered free of charge to all Apple users via the App Store.

Supporting iOS 13.0 and later versions, this application offers support for nearly 40 languages, including Turkish, English and German.

What does Huawei Petal Maps offer?

As you know, Huawei continues to develop its own ecosystem in the shadow of the sanctions imposed by the USA. The China-based technology company announced the Petal Maps application to the whole world with its Mate 40 Pro model phones in 2020.

This application, which has been used in more than 140 regions to date, provides the user with up-to-date and instantaneous public transportation information as well as a normal navigation service. Petal Maps also draws attention with its “Detailed Lane Guidance” feature, in which it warns the user when it is necessary to change lanes.

One of the most striking details of the application is that it has a non-contact control feature (air gesture). Let’s say that this feature, which allows you to control the application with your hand movements without touching the screen, is currently only available on Huawei Mate 30, Mate 40 and P40 smartphones with EMUI 11 and later interfaces.

Petal Maps was published on the Google Play Store a long time ago and managed to get good ratings from its users. Finally, the application published on the App Store will offer a new option to iPhone and iPad users in the navigation section.
