It is important to use up-to-date drivers for the products we use. It is of course possible to achieve performance gains with an up-to-date driver. Intel has released a new 31.0.101.3802 driver for its ARC series cards, which it has positioned around the RTX 3060. This driver increases the performance of the cards by eight percent.
Eight percent performance increase with a single drive!
The Arc series, which Intel released as a competitor to the RTX 3060 in the past months, is also the company’s first gaming card trials. In this context, Arc GPUs, which have gone through a problematic exit process, are trying to recover with updates. Intel, which has made many corrections with the new driver released, points out that the performance has increased by eight percent.
Eight different game test data are available for this driver, which fixes common optimization errors. Especially the eight percent performance increase in Dirt 5 is remarkable. Intel emphasizes that this result is achieved at 1440p and Ultra settings.
In the other seven games tested with the new driver, performance increases of three to seven percent are striking. These games are:
- Gotham Knights
- Forza Horizon 5
- Far Cry 6
- chours
- Ghostwire Tokyo
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
- Sniper Elite 5
Also fixed all bugs in Doom Eternal, Rainbow Six Siege and Death Stranding. So we can say that the driver 31.0.101.3802 is a good patch. By the way, 31.0.101.3802 driver covers all Arc GPUs, especially Arc A770.
Intel continues to support Arc GPUs. If it goes on like this, it will really increase the success of the graphics card. So what do you think about this? Can Intel create tough competition in this industry? Don’t forget to share your views with us!
