One of the barriers for users looking to migrate from Windows 10 to Windows 11 was the minimum system requirements. However, there are various workarounds that make it possible to install the new operating system on almost any system.
Software giant Microsoft is preparing to “annoy” those who install Windows 11 on computers that do not meet the minimum system requirements. The company has begun testing a desktop watermark that will display on systems with unsupported hardware.
Warning will also be displayed in the system section
In the test version of the operating system, a warning is displayed in the lower right corner of the desktop. This watermark, which has a very low transparency and therefore glaring, reminds us that the computer in question does not meet the system requirements of Windows 11.
We recently learned that Microsoft will start showing a warning in the System section of the Settings menu for users who bypass the system requirements. Apparently, the company wants to reflect its warnings on this issue more clearly to users.
