PC Game Pass is coming to GeForce Now
Microsoft and Nvidia have been in close partnership for a while. The two companies have been partnering for some time now. Microsoft struck a deal with Nvidia in February to bring Xbox games to GeForce Now for 10 years, with the first game (Gears 5) arriving in May. Bethesda’s first games, including the Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein reboots, surfaced earlier this month. In this sense, PC Game Pass expands the options even more.
The deal was announced as part of Microsoft’s attempt to gain regulatory approval to acquire Activision Blizzard. Theoretically, this suggests that Microsoft will not have an unfair dominance over cloud gaming. The company also announced that it will sell the cloud gaming rights of Activision Blizzard to Ubisoft to address the concerns of UK authorities.
It may seem strange to access one streaming service’s games through another streaming service, but it can have its advantages. GeForce Now is aimed at gamers who want maximum visual quality and less lag, and the Ultimate tier supports 4K at 120 frames per second.
