PayPal, which came to the fore with the PYUSD stablecoin it launched in the past days, continues to make crypto moves one after another. The payment provider has integrated with hardware cryptocurrency wallet manufacturer Ledger, according to a statement made today.

The new partnership the wallet company announced today will allow users to purchase certain altcoin units using PayPal while using the Ledger Live app. Speaking to the crypto media, a company spokesperson said the following about the details of the collaboration:

“We continue to look for new integrations between Ledger and PayPal. The partnership between the two companies is currently limited to the altcoin units that the payment provider offers to its customers.”

Investors who have previously purchased cryptocurrencies through PayPal will have the opportunity to easily move their digital assets to the Ledger Live platform.

Pascal Gauthier, CEO of the hardware wallet company, stated that he is pleased with the partnership after the deal:

“PayPal has over 20 years of experience. The payment service provider has always been at the forefront of the digital revolution. I am excited to work together.”

The well-established payments broker decided to suspend some of its crypto activities in the UK hours ago in October.
