It was known that PayPal would offer Apple Pay and Apple Wallet support for PayPal and Venmo credit/debit cards in 2023. PayPal has started to offer the update that iPhone users have been waiting for. PayPal credit cards and debit cards can now be added to Apple Wallet and used digitally.With today’s change, PayPal users using PayPal’s debit or credit card will now be able to add their cards to the Apple Wallet application. This move from PayPal has been long awaited, as the majority of other banks and card issuers have supported Apple Wallet and Apple Pay for years.
The steps to add a PayPal card to Apple Wallet are quite simple. When you open the PayPal app on iPhone, you will see a new banner on the home page that says “Pay with your iPhone.” Tapping this will open the Apple Wallet app, where you can add your PayPal credit or debit card.
If you don’t see an image in the PayPal app to add your card to Apple Wallet, you can also add it directly through the Apple Wallet app. You can also add your PayPal card by tapping the “+” icon in the upper right corner in the Wallet app. Venmo cards are not yet accepted.
