The auction will take place at the end of this month.
According to Motor1’s report, the Nissan R34 used by Walker in the series will be auctioned by Bonhams, an international auction house. When Bonhams’ website was examined, it was seen that the sale would be made online between 28 April and 5 May.
The car, which has a special role in the hearts of the fans, had an important role in the fourth movie of the series. The car, which is included in the Nissan Skyline GT-R family, one of the best Japanese vehicles in history, was brought to the USA by Kaizo Industries without an engine.
According to Bonhams, Walker modified the car from the rims to the exhaust according to his wishes. It was even claimed that the vehicle reached 550 horsepower with the intercooler and exhaust upgrades. Let’s add that officially the vehicle has 276 horsepower.
Apart from these, the US government seized the vehicle after the shootings. The reason for this was the controversy over whether Kaizo’s method of bringing these vehicles into the country was legal. Bonhams stated that a solution was found in 2012 and the car was imported to Germany.
While the auction house says that the iconic GT-R is working, it also underlines that the person who will buy the vehicle should have it checked after any serious driving.
