The Callisto Protocol, a space-themed survival thriller and action genre developed by Striking Distance Studios and published by Krafton, was released on December 2. The Callisto Protocol, played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms and seen as the spiritual continuation of the Dead Space series, unfortunately stepped in front of the players with performance problems. The release of The Callisto Protocol was particularly troublesome on the PC side. Serious optimization shortcomings included sudden drop in frame rates and stuttering problems called FPS drops in the game. The developer studio has released a patch that fixes these issues, or rather fixes some of the issues for now.

On Steam, the game currently has a “Mixed” rating after around 10,000 player reviews, with most of the negative posts complaining about the game’s technical shortcomings. Leaving aside the performance issue, when the game is evaluated, there are as many dislikes as the number of likes. In general, it is seen that the game does not add much to the Dead Space series. However, it is also stated that those who love the genre will enjoy this game very much.
