CAKE Rises After PancakeSwap’s Game Announcement
PancakeSwap, a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange platform, has announced its GameFi offering. The PancakeSwap team is launching a GameFi platform called Pancake Protectors. This new project aims to bring everyone interested in decentralized games together with elements such as exciting games, fictional characters, PvP battles and tournaments.
The game is powered by the industry-leading PvP GameFi protocol Mobox. CAKE token holders will be able to increase players’ abilities using units called CAKE Heroes. Also, the game uses two types of special NFTs, Pancake Bunnies and Squads, allowing heroes to hone their abilities.
Pancake Protectors also supports the integration of third-party NFTs. Each player can create a customized avatar using their Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) or other NFT as their profile image. The game is currently in beta phase.
