In the indictment regarding the crypto money exchange Thodex, it was reported that the founder Faruk Fatih Özer submitted the bank receipts to the file that the complainants had compensated their losses in order to benefit from the effective repentance provisions.
In the indictment prepared regarding the Thodex investigation, Faruk Fatih Özer, in the Crypto Exchange, the commercial center of which is the commercial center of Malta, of a significant portion of the crypto assets with an approximate value of 253 million 714 thousand 909 liras from 3 separate accounts under the control of fugitive Fatih Faruk Özer, Zuhal It was reported that it was sent to the accounts opened in the name of Özer and Cem Uzunoğlu.
Total Loss 356 Million Liras
In the indictment, in which it was recorded that a total loss of 356 million TL was recorded, the suspects purchased gold with 22 million 745 thousand TL as a result of their transfers over the Thodex platform, and it was stated that gram gold was 435 TL on that date. When calculated, it was stated that this corresponds to 52 kilograms and 287 grams of gold.
Desired to Benefit from Effective Repentance Provisions
In the indictment, Faruk Fatih Özer’s father, Zülküf Özer, submitted to the file the bank receipts of the complainants, through his lawyer, in order to benefit from effective repentance provisions. It was stated that the attorneys and attorneys submitted their petitions to the file stating that their damages were covered.
The Prosecutor’s Office requested that Özer’s request for effective repentance be evaluated by the trial court.
