Shiba Inu, the altcoin project that started its crypto journey as a meme token, recently launched its layer-2 network Shibarium. After the news, while the investors’ expectation of SHIB rise did not turn into reality, the problems in the network came to the fore.

According to data from blockchain network tracker BlockScout, the last transaction on the network took place 2 hours ago. The average block completion time on the Shibarium network was recorded as 4.3 minutes, with a total of 224 transfers. The total number of wallets created on the Layer-2 network is around 190 thousand.

Investors have transferred about 950 Ethereum and a large amount of Shiba tokens BONE to the smart contract protocol so far. According to unofficial data, the total value of these altcoin units is close to $2.5 million.

After the problem that emerged in the Shibarium network, no official made a statement. Allegedly, in Shiba Inu’s Discord community, investors can’t message some sub-topics right now.
