Bayram Ali Ersoy stated that examiners and candidates are considering the use of artificial intelligence in exam processes such as determining exam locations and building selections. Ersoy said, “We included artificial intelligence experts in our team and established a new advisory board in this field. This advisory board started to work actively to determine the future strategies of ÖSYM.” He gave information as follows.
President Ersoy stated that there are artificial intelligence professors in his team and said that it is aimed for different institutions to interact with artificial intelligence applications. Ensuring coordination of stakeholder institutions such as Meteorology, Highways and municipalities stood out as one of the main goals.
Artificial intelligence era in question generation
Ersoy stated that they will hold meetings regarding exam conditions in relevant institutions and emphasized that the exams will be held in a healthier way. He also explained that when the studies are instantly transferred to the system, the exam processes will be better optimized and a more effective approach will be adopted in placing candidates in the face of negative situations.
Ersoy also stated that studies on the use of artificial intelligence in question generation are continuing at ÖSYM and that they aim to complete this project. Stating that they want artificial intelligence to be used in exam evaluation, Ersoy emphasized that they will attach importance to the balance between artificial intelligence and human factors.
