It is very important that all our citizens can vote in the elections that will take place on Sunday, May 14. However, there are many people whose voter registration is different from the city they live in now.

Especially students who study in different cities but whose voter registration is outside the province where they are studying, and our citizens who had to leave their cities after the painful earthquake disaster we experienced, have to change cities in order to vote. However, ticket prices are unfortunately not at the level that everyone can buy with peace of mind and set out to choose…

Some campaigns were launched to solve this problem and to enable students and earthquake survivors to vote;

  • Suspended Ticket: A campaign to provide the necessary resources to vote for registered voters in the earthquake zone. You can click here to donate to the campaign and here to apply for tickets.
  • Democracy Ticket: Ticket applications for the Democracy Ticket campaign, which is carried out so that university students can go to their cities and vote, have ended. However, donations can still be made so that incoming applications can be answered and tickets can be provided to more young people. You can donate by clicking here.
  • We are going to the ballot box. We: We are going to the ballot box, which will support university students in terms of travel expenses so that they can vote, and the application process has been completed.
  • ”Return Procedures of Disaster Victims to Earthquake Zones and Road Expense Payments”:
    According to the information shared by AFAD, if the earthquake victims want to go with their own vehicles, they will be able to go to the application points determined by the Governor’s Office and District Governorates and get a travel expense document, and they will be able to obtain their travel expenses by informing that they have arrived at the application point in the province they go to. The same process can be performed during the return process.
    Citizens who want to go by public transport will be transported to the disaster area with the vehicles provided by applying to the points determined by the District Governorates and Governorates. Citizens who have bought their tickets will be able to apply again and get their ticket fee back.
  • Apart from these campaigns, all political parties can find solutions within their own provincial and district organizations regarding the travel expenses of the voters. For detailed information, you can take a look at the statements of the political parties you want.
