Oppo has expanded its smartphone family with a new model. The Chinese brand has officially introduced the Reno 7A. Joining the middle class ranks, the device draws attention with its IP68 protection, high refresh rate display and 5G connection support.
Smartphone sales in Europe hit bottom
The smartphone features a 6.4 inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. Equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, the device has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The screen takes up 89.4% of the front panel area.
Oppo Reno 7A offers water and dust resistance thanks to its IP68 certification. Powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset with 5G support, the model has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It also has a microSD card slot.
Triple rear camera and 4,500 mAh battery
The rear panel of the smartphone features a triple camera system consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The device, which takes the energy it needs from its 4,500 mAh battery, has a charging speed of 18 watts.
Oppo Reno 7A comes out of the box with Android 11 based ColorOS 12 interface installed. The price tag of the device, which is offered for sale in Japan with black and light blue color options, is 335 dollars. It is not yet known when it will be released in other regions.
