Oppo first entered the foldable smartphone world with the Find N, which it announced in 2021. Despite being a successful device, it could not break out of the Chinese market. However, the company plans to expand the Find N series and announce two new foldable models worldwide.
Two strong competitors are coming from Oppo to Samsung
Oppo’s new two models will be presented globally, unlike last year. Although the names of the new models are not clear, the estimates are that they will be Find N Fold and Find N Flip. Devices whose technical specifications are not yet known are expected to compete with Samsung’s Z Fold and Z Flip.
Oppo will include the Snapdragon 8 + Gen1 chipset, which Samsung also uses in its foldable devices, in its new models. At the same time, the company, which has improved itself in terms of screen, will allegedly eliminate the folding line “almost completely”.
Oppo Find N features
The device, which was introduced in 2021 and took four years to develop, was sold for almost half the price of its foldable competitors sold in its period. It powers the Sanapdragon 888 Find N and has a 7.1-inch 120Hz refresh rate display. It also has a 32 Megapixel selfie camera embedded in the screen.
The device has a 4500mAh battery and offers 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. Offering 256 GB and 512 GB options for storage, the company has two options on the RAM side, 8 GB or 12 GB.
The foldable Oppo model comes before users with a 50 Megapixel main, 16 Megapixel ultra-wide angle and 13 Megapixel telephoto on the back.
