ColorOS 14, the new face of Oppo phones, debuted in the global market. The beta version of ColorOS 14 has started to be distributed in certain regions. Oppo Find N2 Flip will be the first model to receive the stable version. So, which Oppo devices are included in the Android 14 beta program and what are the innovations with ColorOS 14?

Innovations with ColorOS 14

OPPO announced today that the ColorOS 14 global version is officially available. Based on Android 14, ColorOS 14 offers optimized Aquamorphic Design, AI-powered smart features for improved productivity, performance boost, and easy-to-use tools for security and privacy protection.
ColorOS 14 comes with upgraded Trinity Engine. ROM Vitalization compresses application and file data and saves up to 20GB of storage space. RAM Vitalization replaces Android’s RAM mechanism with a better mechanism, specifically at keeping background apps in RAM. CPU Vitalization balances the performance and power usage of the processor.
ColorOS now features Smart Charging, which uses an AI algorithm to adjust charging depending on whether and how the user is using the phone. Another innovation, apart from the feature of protecting battery health, is Picture Keeper. Picture Keeper adds extra permissions to access certain photos and videos on the phone. The Smart Image Matting feature allows you to remove people or animals or a frame from a photo. The new Smart Touch helps select text, images or video from native and third-party applications and collect them into the File Dock. File Dock is like a clipboard that allows content to be stored for later use. This board works synchronously between Oppo devices.
With ColorOS 14, the look and style of the user interface has also been updated. Called Aqua Dynamic, the design is a collection of generic bubbles, capsules, and panels that pop up in the status bar to reduce distraction and maintain functionality. The status bar and screen content are now colored with the Aquamorphic Coloring system, which includes color tones most appropriate to the time of day. A new style has also been added to the Always On Display (AOD) mode. The update adds Bitmoji stickers that automatically update based on what the user has done throughout the day, where they are, the weather and other conditions.
