Oppo announces phones that will receive Android 14 update
For those who don’t know, Oppo was one of the earliest companies to act on the Android 13 update. At this point, the Chinese giant, which announced the ColorOS 13 version last August, turned its focus to Android 14. Today, Oppo Benelux has announced 11 new phones that will receive the Android 14 update. The shared list includes many models from the Find X series to the Reno family and even the A series. Here are all the phones that will receive the update:
- Oppo A98
- Oppo A78
- Oppo A77
- Oppo A57
- Oppo Reno8 Pro
- Oppo Reno8
- Oppo Reno8T
- Oppo Reno7
- Oppo Find X5
- Oppo Find X5 Pro
- Oppo Find X3 Pro
For those who don’t know, Oppo’s new interface ColorOS 14 will be based on Android 14 and will come with optimizations of the new operating system. These innovations include customizable lock screens, AI-generated wallpapers, redesigned spin animations, and app-specific language support.
In addition, another innovation that comes with the new version will be the limitation of old Android applications. Google says this change specifically targets Android 5.1 (Lollipop) APIs and apps built for older versions.
