Oppo, one of the leading names in the smartphone market, continues to expand its budget and flagship product range day by day. Oppo’s new budget phone, the Oppo A1 5G, has a 6.72-inch IPS display with a hole centered on the front. The panel also stands out with its Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. However, the model, which maintains similar design lines with the recently introduced Oppo A1x model, is supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G platform under the hood.
Oppo A1 5G has an 8MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls on the front. The rear panel is accompanied by a dual camera setup consisting of f/1.8 50MP primary and f/2.4 2MP macro sensors. In addition, it should be noted that the Oppo A1 5G comes with 8/12 GB RAM and 256 storage options and microSD card support.
Oppo A1 5G comes out of the box with a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support and ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. Other features of the smartphone include side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and IR blaster.
Oppo A1 5G comes in three different color options, Cabernet Orange, Ocean Blue and Sandstone Black. The 8/256GB model will be priced at CNY 2,099 ($305), while the 12/256GB version will be priced at CNY 2,299 ($334).
