Opera has brought its crypto browser to iPhone and iPad after Windows, Mac and Android.
Opera’s browser comes with a crypto wallet that supports Bitcoin, Ethereum and other blockchain ecosystems. The wallet allows users to buy crypto with fiat coins. The browser will additionally provide access to Web3-based NFTs and decentralized applications, including 7,000 services based on the Polygon ecosystem.
One of the highlights of the browser is a Crypto Corner start page where users can get live updates on cryptocurrencies like latest prices, airdrops, podcasts etc. Opera states that it designed the browser for both crypto experts and newcomers to the industry.
Mobile Vice President at Opera, Jorgen Arnesen, said in his statement:
There was no word on whether the browser coming to iPhone and iPad supports the energy-efficient Ethereum Layer 2 standard. Layer 2 support for Android launched in February.
