Norway-based browser company Opera has announced that it also supports scalable network provider Elrond, after 8 different Blockchains it has previously added to its structure.

Browser companies continue to work for next-generation internet services such as Web3. They will make increasing Web3 integrations around the world to keep their systems up to date with the future. Browsers are preparing a Blockchain-based system that users can easily access for a decentralized future.

Opera Announces Support for Elrond

Danny Yao, Product Manager for the company’s browser operations, shared that with the integration to be launched this year, they will provide support for Elrond applications and the network’s native token EGLD. Underlining that the browser serves more than 300 million users, Yao stated that they have made it significantly easier for people to use Blockchain.

Emphasizing the importance of integration, Elrond CEO Benjamin Mincu said;

“This shared vision and common goal of making Web3 accessible to all users is the key force behind this new collaboration.”

The company, which came to the fore with its crypto studies, emphasized the importance of active use of Web3 in browser services. The browser company underlined that users can easily transact with Opera Wallet, which is integrated into the Blockchain chain.
