ChatGPT, which helps us in many areas and does not want to see another tool in terms of practicality, is a versatile artificial intelligence assistant that provides convenience from helping with homework to our daily needs. While we were thinking about the limits of what we can do with ChatGPT, OpenAI made a few announcements at its first developer conference last month.

While ChatGPT was celebrating its first anniversary, it announced a store called “GPT Store” in November. While the private GPTs and store announced at the developer conference were expected to be operational this month, it has been postponed to 2024.

OpenAI notified developers who signed up for the GPT Builder program about this delay via e-mail.

Dear GPT Creator,

It’s been less than a month since we announced GPTs, and we’re blown away by the useful and fun GPTs you and the developer community have created. We continue to make improvements to GPTs based on your feedback. We updated the configuration interface to improve the “Actions” section, enabled one-click testing, added debug messages in the preview, and now allow multiple fields. There were also questions about the uploaded files.

Since uploaded files are downloadable when using the Code Interpreter, we have turned this feature off by default and added messages to better explain this. If you have additional feedback, we’d love to hear from you here.

As for what’s next, we plan to open the GPT store early next year. While we wait to publish this month, a few unexpected things are keeping us busy! By the way, we’ll have other great updates to ChatGPT coming soon. Thank you for taking the time to create GPT.

As we mentioned, there were layoffs at the company, the reactions of hundreds of employees, and the support shown by employees on social media by leaving heart emojis on Sam Altman’s post; The return of the company’s CEO, Sam Altman, shortly after these events caused the company to go through a tiring process.

We understand from the e-mail sent to the developers that this process was a complicated process for the company. In particular, Sam Altman’s resignation from his position as CEO, joining Microsoft and then returning again was effective in the realization of such a move.

With GPT Store, developers will be able to create various GPTs and sell them to users. In other words, ChatGPT will turn into a marketplace. How GPTs will be priced is a matter of curiosity.
