The popular social media platform Instagram has a feature called “Close Friends” that users love very much. The feature allowed only the people you selected to see the stories you shared. It was a matter of curiosity whether close friends would come to the posts.
Alessandro Paluzzi, known for his shares about mobile applications, revealed that the close friends feature was tested in the posts in May. Today, however, it has been seen that the company has started rolling out the feature.
You will be able to share your posts only with the people you specify.
Instagram has started to roll out its new feature that allows you to limit your posts to your close friends. This feature, which we encountered in the latest iOS version of the application, can be used from the previous page without sharing the post.
We see that a section called “Target audience” has been added just below the “Tag people” section on this page.
When you click here, you can choose whether to share your post with everyone or with your close friends. Instagram adds that close friends can see each other’s username when they like or comment on the post.
Let’s not go without adding that the close friends feature in posts is not yet available to everyone. The company is probably rolling out the feature gradually. We can predict that it will debut for everyone in the coming weeks.
