In the smartphone world, battery technologies are developing rapidly and especially Chinese manufacturers are taking important steps in this regard. Brands such as OnePlus, Vivo and Xiaomi manage to offer both fine and high-capacity batteries thanks to the new generation silicone-carbon (si/c) batteries. Now, OnePlus is preparing to move the bar further up.
According to the Digital Chat Station, one of the reliable sources in the industry, OnePlus is working on a huge battery with a capacity of 8,000mAh. The development of this battery is carried out by Ouga Lab, the R & D team of OnePlus and Oppo. One of the most remarkable points of the new generation battery is to significantly increase the silicone ratio compared to previous models. For example, in the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro model, this rate is 6 percent, while the new battery may be up to 15 percent. Since silicone is much more advantageous in terms of graphite in terms of lithium ions, this innovation provides a significant increase in battery capacity.
However, onePlus is not expected to be released directly with a battery with a capacity of 8.000mah. In the coming period, it seems more likely to introduce a flagship model with a capacity of 7.000mah. However, the battery is expected to make a difference not only with its large capacity, but also with the 80W Supervooc fast charging support. Thanks to this technology, even high -capacity batteries can be charged in a very short time.
Of course, it should not be forgotten that these claims have not yet received an official approval. Since there has not yet been a clear explanation on the issue from the OnePlus front, it remains unclear which model and when it will appear. However, considering the aggressive strategies to increase battery capacity of Chinese manufacturers, it seems certain that there will be major changes in the smartphone market in the near future.
