As OnePlus’ 10th anniversary in December is fast approaching, to celebrate the occasion, the company will launch its new high-end phone on December 5 in Shenzhen, China. The brand’s official Chinese website has confirmed for the first time the OnePlus 12, which looks quite similar to its previous version, but the color of the camera island now matches the body color. In addition, a new green color design has been added to the gloss white and classic matte black color options, which has the appearance of matte marble, unlike the previous flat glossy coating.
As reported by Yahoo Tech HK, OnePlus had already shared some key features in multiple Weibo posts. These include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a new Sony LYT-808 sensor for the 50-megapixel main camera, and a 64-megapixel, 3X periscopic telephoto camera. Other features include China’s BOE’s 2K display panel, the iconic alert slider, wireless charging, infrared remote control and rain touch optimization.
This much we know about OnePlus 12 for now. But we’ll know more in about a week. Additionally, the global launch date of the new phone will be announced on December 15, OnePlus told Engadget. So OnePlus 12 will be available all over the world.
