OnePlus will launch its new device, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, this August. Some features of the device, which is expected to be launched in China, were approved by the company, and recently Tipster Digital Chat Station shared an image of the device’s camera module. OnePlus has promised to eliminate the 8GB variant with its upcoming flagship-level smartphones, and it appears to be keeping its word. Because the promotional image shared by OnePlus confirmed that it will equip the base variant of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro with 12GB of RAM. The company stated that the upcoming device will also be available in 16GB and 24GB RAM variants. Thus, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro could be the first smartphone with 24GB of physical RAM.
OnePlus has yet to confirm the storage variants of the upcoming smartphone. However, a previous report had claimed that the base variant could have 256GB of storage and a 1TB variant as well. If we talk about the screen side of the device, it will have 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.The device, which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno 740 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, will be paired with PDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device, which is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup hosted by a 50MP Sony IMX 890 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization, will come out of the box with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 150W and 100W wired fast charging technology.
The company also hints that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be equipped with an industry-specific feature for gaming. Because another shared teaser shows that the upcoming smartphone will be able to play games at high frame rates and resolutions.
