The specifications shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo state that the OnePlus 12 will be offered with two memory options, 16GB and 24GB. It is also stated that the memory to be used will be LPDDR5X. The phone, which is expected to have 256GB and 512GB (UFS 4.0) storage, will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with a larger vapor chamber than the previous model. It is said that the rear camera specs will also get a notable upgrade and the primary 50MP sensor will belong to Sony’s IMX900 series. While the ultra-wide-angle unit is said to be 50MP, it is stated that the telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom will have a 64MP resolution.On the screen side, the 6.7-inch AMOLED screen will, unsurprisingly, meet us with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. As for the battery specifications, it is stated that the OnePlus 12 will have a 5,400mAh battery. This battery is also said to support up to 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. On the biometric features side, it is said that there will be an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, but its size and other details are not mentioned. Finally, OnePlus 12 will be introduced in December 2023 and will go on global sale early next year.
