Samsung, Oppo, OnePlus and many other brands will announce new flagship phones in the coming weeks. Among these names, OnePlus plans to hold a new event on January 4 that includes the OnePlus 11 series. According to images from the Device Info HW app, the OnePlus 11R will be powered by a cropped version of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, which appears on devices such as OPPO Reno 9 Pro Plus, Honor 80 Pro, Honor 80 GT. This cropped version is powered by Cortex-X2 cores running at 3.0GHz instead of 3.2GHz, three Cortex-A710 Gold cores at 2.50GHz instead of 2.75GHz, and four 1.80GHz Cortex-A510 cores.
The screenshots confirm that the OnePlus 11R will feature a 6.67-inch display with 2772×1240 pixels with HDR 10/10+, HLG and 120Hz support. However, the device will have a 16MP selfie camera on the front and a 50MP Sony IMX890 or Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor with OIS on the back. This section will be accompanied by 12MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro cameras.OnePlus 11R is expected to come out of the box with OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13 OS and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. The new flagship phone will be available to users with 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM options in addition to UFS 3.1 internal storage up to 512GB.
