South Korean technology giant Samsung had started testing the Android 13-based new operating system One UI 5.0 with a small user base a few months ago. Having tested the new features developed by taking advantage of the blessings of Android 13 within the scope of the open beta version, the company gave the clear signal that the new operating system is on the way.
Now, there has been an important development regarding Samsung’s new mobile operating system. Taking the stage as part of SDC22 events, Samsung officially announced One UI 5. This announcement means that the Android 13 era has officially started on the Samsung front. Users will begin to reach the stable version of the new operating system in the next stages.
One UI 5 will come to the Galaxy S22 family before the end of October!
According to the official statement, Samsung’s new operating system based on Android 13 will reach the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra before the end of October. In the coming months, we will see the scope of this distribution expand. All flagship phones that the company has started to provide Android updates will receive the One UI 5 update in order. However, Samsung has not shared an official calendar for now.
