One UI 5.1 for Galaxy S22 series is on the way
Samsung is reportedly already internally testing the One UI 5.1 update with version S90xEXXU2CVL7 for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The related test software has also been detected on Samsung’s servers. On the other hand, previous information showed that the One UI 5.1 version would be released with the Galaxy S23. Therefore, we will see One UI 5.1 first in the Galaxy S23 series.
The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will arrive shortly after the Galaxy S23 is introduced. It’s not clear what features One UI 5.1 might bring to the table. However, the company had hinted that it was preparing some lock screen customization options for Android 13-based One UI 5.1 a few months ago. It seems quite likely that the company will add Android 13’s new media player widget design to the notifications area.
On the other hand, we can see innovations from One UI 5.1 in the notification bar and other customization options. Samsung brought the current One UI 5.0 update to its smartphones very quickly and continues to bring it. While this form of the company is in the middle, it will be distributed quickly in the new One UI 5.1.
