In 2020, Samsung put the Note series on dusty shelves with the Galaxy Note 20 family. Announcing that it will release three main Android updates to its flagship and mid-segment models in the same year, the company will release One UI 5.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will receive One UI 5.1 update
The year 2020, which is a turning point for Samsung, announced on August 5 that it will end the production of the Galaxy Note series. Focusing on foldable phones in the same year, the company also presented its new update policy to users.

Launching with Android 10 out of the box, the Galaxy Note 20 is among the first models to deliver on the company’s promise of three major Android updates. It is worth reminding that Samsung will offer security updates to its users for 5 years.
It is stated that the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will receive the One UI 5.1 update, which will be released with the Galaxy S23 series in a few months. However, the One UI 5.1.1 update, which is expected to accompany the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the second half of 2023, is expected to come to the Galaxy Note 20 series.
