Gaining serious speed in Android updates with One UI 3.0 and later, Samsung promises 4-5 Android version updates for its newly released devices. Even ahead of Google on the Android side, Samsung may be even faster than last year in the Android 13 update.
Samsung will start Android 13 updates in October
It was stated in the past days that Samsung is approaching the beta version for One UI 5.0. Sammobile, known for its sources close to Samsung, stated that Android 13-based One UI 5.0 will be released as beta for the Galaxy S22 series in the third week of July, and the stable version will be released in October. After the Galaxy S22, a beta program will probably be launched for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy S21 series.
Samsung started Android 12 updates in November last year. Samsung, which delivered the Android 12 update to series such as Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Tab S7 before the end of December 2021, seems to offer higher performance this year.
