Forza Horizon, the long-established game series developed by Microsoft and PlayGround Games, will soon be available to all players with the fifth production of the series. A comprehensive comparison video has been released for Forza Horizon 5, which will be released for Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.

Forza Horizon 5 offers a good experience on every platform

The YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits tested the production on each platform separately and published a 26-minute long comparison video. Although the game looks breathtaking on all platforms, the PC and Xbox Series X versions are clearly separated from the others at the highest settings.

If you take a look at the video above, especially when the quality mode is turned on, the game looks breathtaking on Xbox Series X and PC -with the effect of ray tracing mode-. On the other hand, when the quality mode is turned on, the game is fixed at 30 FPS. Although 30 FPS in a static game is not very remarkable, it must be admitted that such a low screen refresh rate in a fast-paced racing game like Forza is a bit eye-catching.

Here are the notes on the Forza Horizon 5 comparison:

  • Turning on performance mode on Xbox Series affects many things like shadow quality, reflections and density of environmental elements.
  • Xbox Series X’s quality mode offers visuals equivalent to PC settings at the highest setting.
  • Xbox One/X versions use lower quality reflections and the reflections correspond to the performance mode of the Series X/S.
  • All versions of the game offer the promised FPS value at an excellent rate. There is no FPS drop.
  • The Xbox One X version of Horizon 5 does not have a 60 FPS performance mode.
  • The Xbox One version has far fewer NPCs than the others, and the draw distance is much worse.
  • Ray tracing technology in the game is only available when using Forzavista in quality mode. This feature is only available on Xbox Series and PC versions.

So what do you guys think about the published comparison video? Do you agree with the notes of the producer of the video? Do not forget to share your views with us in the comments section.
