READING NOW Official gaming performance of AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D shared: faster than Intel’s most powerful!
The Ryzen 7000X3D series is seen as one of the most ideal options for those looking for high performance in games. Although the currently released Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 7900X3D models are not very attractive with their prices, the upcoming Ryzen 7 7800X3D seems to have a nice balance. Because the official game tests that have emerged confirm that the processor is quite ambitious.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D will hit the market in the coming days and the wait is over. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D will be the true successor to the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which has become a popular gaming processor since its launch. Ryzen 7 7800X3D will come to the shelves with 8 cores, 16 threads and the same 104 MB cache (32 MB CCD, 64 MB V-Cache + 8 MB L2). This processor will have a base clock speed of 4 GHz, which is 500 MHz slower than the Ryzen 7 7700X, and a boost clock of 5.0 GHz, which is again 400 MHz slower. TDP is 120W.

Ryzen 7 7800X3D faster than Core i9-13900K

In previous benchmarks, AMD compared the Ryzen 7 7800X3D to the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Intel’s Core i9-13900K processors, but the number of games in these benchmarks was small and somewhat biased. However, now that the slides have leaked for the company, a clearer view of the processor’s gaming performance can be obtained.

The new list consists of 21 AAA games tested at 1080p high settings and compared to the Intel Core i9-13900K. Although the performance difference in the list is up to 30 percent in favor of AMD, on average, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is 7 percent more performant than the Core i9-13900K.

The Intel Core i9-13900K sells for around $550 and reaches 125-253W power consumption during gaming. Considering the reviews of the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and 7900X3D models, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D (120W) will not reach the limit set in power consumption too much. Because in this generation, the power consumption balance between AMD and Intel is in favor of the red team. In the meantime, let’s say that the price of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is $ 449.
