Sharing new information about artificial intelligence technologies at the GDC 2022 event, Nvidia introduced Instant NeRF technology, which enables rapid creation of three-dimensional scenes from 2D photos.
NeRF, an abbreviation for Neural Radiance Field, is known today as a technique that uses artificial intelligence to create three-dimensional scenes from still images. However, the company, which has managed to reduce the processing time of technology, which takes hours or days, up to 1000 times with artificial intelligence tensor cores, will be able to create three-dimensional scenes in just a few seconds.

Nvidia says the new technology can be used in different areas such as creating avatars or scenes in the virtual world, capturing video conference participants and their environments in 3D. Noting that the technology can fill even vision-impaired objects with the support of artificial intelligence, the company stated that if there is too much movement during the 2D image capture process, the scenes created by artificial intelligence will be blurred.
