Nvidia’s latest graphics card, GeForce RTX 4070, has not seen the desired reaction from users since its release. Due to the low demand, the price of the card continues to decrease in various markets. Recent reports show that the European prices of the RTX 4070 are starting to fall below the 600 Euro mark.

GeForce RTX 4070 prices drop

According to the reports, the GeForce RTX 4070 launch price has already dropped to €599 in Germany two weeks later. There is no problem in the supply or production of the card, which started to be sold for 60 Euros below the exit price. Stocks, on the other hand, are at normal levels. Therefore, the only logical explanation for the decline is low consumer demand.

Currently, the Gainward GeForce RTX 4070 Ghost is available in Germany for €599. However, this company is not the only one selling the card below the exit price. Models of Palit, Gigabyte and Inno3D are also available for 625-645 Euros. However, there are no significant card-specific price drops in the US market yet. Most cards are in the $600 segment, but price drops may occur in both the US and other markets in the coming months. As it is known, AMD will launch the Radeon RX 7600 GPU at Computex at the end of May.

While the GeForce RTX 4070 is equivalent to the RTX 3080 in terms of performance, it manages to stand out one step further with DLSS 3 and energy efficiency. Still, many are waiting for the mainstream cards to come, which will settle in the $400 band. For this reason, we can say that the RTX 4070 is a bit in limbo in terms of price.
