As NVIDIA introduces the 4000 Series graphics card models one by one, they are in the middle of a big change. The company, which focuses on the production of new generation graphics cards, is now stopping the production of old generation products. NVIDIA, which is stated to accelerate the production of the RTX 4060 graphics card, is shelving one of its most important products.
End of the road for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
According to the information received, NVIDIA has stopped the production of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card model. Launched in early 2021, the RTX 3060 Ti was among the company’s best-selling graphics cards for a long time. It seems that we are slowly saying goodbye to this successful video card.
RTX 3060 Ti, which has done very well in the middle class until NVIDIA’s new generation graphics cards were introduced, has begun to lose its throne in recent days. The recently announced Steam Hardware Research also confirms the popularity of this graphics card. RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Laptop GPU, GTX 1060 and RTX 2060 are among the top five in the announced list.
The RTX 4060 series, which will be introduced in the coming days, will replace this card. It is quite logical for NVIDIA to say goodbye to its old models while releasing the new generation graphics cards. Thus, the company will pave the way for new generation graphics cards. With the cessation of production, we can expect the prices of the GeForce RTX 3060 series to decrease.
