As the release date of Nvidia’s new generation Ada Lovelace graphics cards approaches, a new one has been added to the leaks. According to reports, Nvidia will make a new change in the AD104 chip that will power the RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Ti models.
The RTX 3090 Ti may lag behind
In a new post on Twitter, kopite7kimi reported that the GeForce RTX 4070, which is expected to come with 18 Gbps data transfer rate, 10GB GDDR6X memory and 160-bit memory bus, will have 21 Gbps data transfer rate, 12GB memory and 192-bit bus. Thus, the new card, updated with a wider bus and faster memory, will provide a maximum bandwidth of 504 GB / s, which is 36.5 percent higher than the previously mentioned features.
DirectStorage technology SSD requirements revealed
Saying that RTX 4070 will use the full configuration of the AD104 chip, which consists of 7,680 CUDA cores and 60 SM (Streaming Multiprocessor), Kopite7kimi stated that with the new changes, the card can reach 3DMark TimeSpy Extreme scores of around 11,000. This indicates a higher performance than flagship GPUs such as the RTX 3090 Ti.
