Nvidia announced new G-Sync monitors at CES 2022. These models allow you to switch between 1440p and 1080p. Most PC gamers still use 1080p resolution right now. According to Steam, this rate was announced as 67 percent. At this point, users are considering upgrading to 1440p.

Nvidia thinks it can help a lot with its new G-Sync monitors, especially in the field of esports. At this point he hopes it will ease the transition.

Nvidia will offer support up to 360 Hz on its new monitors

Nvidia’s new 27-inch monitors support refresh rates up to 360Hz. In addition, Reflex Analyzer offers system latency tool support. It uses a mini LED backlight to enhance the panel’s color profile. Finally, it includes an esports vibration mode and a dedicated 25-inch 1080p mode.

These monitors are designed specifically for games like Valorant, CS:GO, Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege. All of these games are capable of rendering more than 360 FPS at 1440p at maximum settings with Intel’s latest Core i9-12900K and RTX 3080, according to Nvidia.

The most interesting aspect of the new monitors is the dual-format mode, which converts 27-inch monitors to 25-inch 1080p displays for games that cannot reach high frame rates at 1440p. Nvidia said these monitors will shrink to 25 inches with extra bezels around the screen to support the lower 1080p resolution. It’s unclear what kind of scaling the company will use yet.
