AMD, which announced the new generation Radeon RX 6500 XT as part of CES 2022, did not receive a response from its rival Nvidia. Introducing the hardware that it will launch in 2022, the technology giant officially announced the RTX 3090 Ti model with the claim of ‘the fastest graphics card ever’.
The RTX 3090 Ti is 7.7 percent faster than its predecessor
Nvidia made another important announcement after the entry-level ray-tracing supported entry-level card RTX 3050, which it announced within the scope of CES 2022. The famous technology giant stated that the new generation graphics card is 7.7 percent faster than the RTX 3090 with its 21 Gbps memory clock speed and 24 GB GDDR6X VRAM.
The design of the RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition is very similar to the original model. Just like the RTX 3090, the device, which has a three-slot design, will need a 16-pin power input and will demand a power consumption of at least 450W. The information from the Nvidia front is that the device will have a base clock speed of 1860 MHZ over the non-Ti version and will offer a single-precision processing power of 40 teraflops.
No price information about Nvidia’s new generation flagship has yet been shared. On the other hand, the price of the RTX 3090 Ti, which will be the first graphics card expected to reach 8K resolutions, is expected to be around 2000 dollars.
