Samsung, the One UI 7’s stable version is now counting down. Although there is no official statement yet, it is said that the update will be distributed for compatible models as of February 7. Recent developments show that the first details of One UI 8, despite this process, which is not yet available, have started to emerge. So, which models will receive the update?
Android 16 -based One UI 8 update Samsung Models
Samsung has improved software support in recent years. In this context, the middle -segment models released after the Galaxy A16 5G will be supported by six years, and the flagship devices with the Galaxy S24 series will receive seven years of support. The previously announced models will depend on the first announced software support time.
This means that software support for some models ends. According to sources, the Galaxy S21 series will not receive the Android 16 update. The reason for this is Samsung’s policy of offering four major operating system updates to these devices. To explain in more detail, the Galaxy S21 series appeared from the box with Android 11 and will be completed by getting the fourth and last major update with Android 15.
