Apple M2 processor is on the agenda with its benchmark score
According to the news of 9to5Mac, the results of the tests with the Apple M2 processor have emerged. The Apple M2 is 18 percent faster than the M1 in processor performance. In terms of graphics performance, the processor, which has 35 percent better performance than the M1, has also managed to surpass Intel Alder Lake desktop processors.
Apple used 3.2GHz performance cores in the M1 processor. The M2 processor, which was introduced in the past weeks, has a 3.49GHz performance core. M2, whose single-core performance is approximately 11.5 percent faster than the M1, is faced with 19.4 percent better performance than the M1 processor in multi-core performance.
Analysts stated that the new processor introduced by Apple is impressive. Underlining that the company’s decision to abandon Intel processors is appropriate, analysts think that ARM-based processors will be preferred more in the future. According to
Geekbench score, the M2 processor lags behind Intel Alder Lake’s Core i9 12900-K and Core i9 12900-KF processors in only single core performance. The Core i9 12900-K and Core i9 12900-KF, known as desktop processors, lagged behind the Apple M2 in multi-core performance.
