With the Ryzen 7000 and Radeon 7000 series, AMD made a heady start to the market, and things suddenly turned upside down. After the cooling problems in Radeon RX 7900 XTX cards, problems are also reported in Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards.

What’s wrong with Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards?

According to the information shared by the German Techtuber and KrisFix-Germany technical service platforms, it is stated that a total of 48 different Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards have come with a damaged chip so far. 13 graphics cards have different problems.

Platform officials state that this is the first time that so many video cards have been repaired due to corrupted chips. It is also stated that there is a short circuit in the GPU, memory and controller lines. Moreover, users stated that the graphics card died suddenly while playing games, watching videos or even in standby.

In the examinations, it has been determined that all graphics cards are working on the Adrenaline 22.11.2 (WHQL) driver released last month. So it looks like there is a driver-related issue, but it’s not clear. Sources think that AMD may have accidentally turned off the thermal protection. Players are requested not to use this version for now.
