Carl Pei stated that there are no products that will excite people in the affordable consumer electronics segment and once again drew attention to the main goal of CMF. CMF by Nothing will be managed by a separate team within the company, so that the two brands will be developed without overlapping each other.
It is stated that while Nothing will focus on innovative designs, high-end segment and cutting-edge technology, CMF will focus on clean and fresh designs, accessible products and reliable quality. The name of CMF consists of the words Colors (colors), Materials (materials) and Finish (lacquer). Along with the brand’s announcement, Nothing stated that before the end of the year, CMF will announce a headset and a smartwatch. It is not known whether the smart watch will come with Wear OS, but the affordable price of the watch indicates that the smart watch will have a special operating system.
