AMD Ryzen 7000 “Dragon Range” series laptop processors will be released very soon. Among the highly anticipated laptop solutions today, AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX was displayed on the Geekbench platform. What does the top model of the family offer against Intel Raptor Lake HX processors? Let’s see together
AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX pushes the limits
According to reports, AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX will come with 80MB cache, 75W TDP, 5.4 GHz maximum clock speed and 16 Zen4 cores and 32 threads. However, tested with 32GB DDR5 4800 MT/s RAM on ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 laptop, the CPU achieves surprising results.
According to the shared images, the Ryzen 9 7945HX reaches 2127 single-core and 19.403 multi-core scores on the Geekbench platform. At this point, the Ryzen 9 7945HX takes the top spot in the mobile CPU comparison with its single core score. In multi-core, we can say that it is just below its rival Intel Core i9-980HX. It should also be noted that the new flagship processor is significantly faster than its predecessor, the Ryzen 9 6900HX. On the desktop side, we see that the Ryzen 9 7945HX is approaching the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X. We can say that this is quite impressive for a processor with a relatively limited 55W power budget.
