YouTube changed its mind on channel profile design
YouTube is very pleased that its short and vertical video format will not interfere with other videos. Saying that they benefited from the feedback of users while making this decision, the 17-year-old channel thinks that this move will both save time for viewers and that content producers can easily identify what viewers like.
Previously, people could get lost in the videos because all kinds of content appeared in the Videos tab. This change will allow users to easily watch their favorite videos without having to see Shorts videos and other videos that don’t interest them.
Also, if a viewer returns to the main page of the channel they watched while watching a video in the Short tab, more Shorts content will appear in front of them. Because this person will be automatically redirected to the Shorts tab.
Thanks to this move, YouTube thinks that people who produce Shorts content will get what they deserve in terms of the number of views. The new update will start rolling out from today.
